Seyoung is my friend and my senior, so I learned a lot about how to work with other actors. That's where I gained confidence. Thanks to her, I was able to do it comfortably. Our work doesn't mean we can do it alone. Since it's a job that requires teamwork, I learned a lot of such methods. That’s why I thought she’s a senior and this is the reason why she was able to maintained her position as an actor for a long time and still remained excellent.”

The reason why he really wanted to work with Lee Se-young was, "I was curious because she had been working as an actress since she was a child. I’m thinking what would be the difference because there must be a reason to maintain the difficult path for a long time in such a young age. I think seyoung’s techniques, methods, and way of communicating make it impossible to dislike her. I was thinking because I've wanted to do this also for a long time. What I'm curious about child actors is, are they doing it because they want to or because their mother told them so. This made me think because for me there was nothing greater than consistency. (Lee Se-young) is someone who has been active in her 20s and since she was a child, and I thought she had a certain mindset to be able to do it consistently. I was curious, but I never asked her directly about her childhood.”

There was also a lot of love scenes with Yeon-woo (Lee Se-young) in the drama. Among them, Bae In-hyuk picked “eye kiss” as a memorable scene.

“There was a scene at the end where Yeonwoo kisses my eyes before she leaves, and it was very pretty. There was a meaning of Yeonwoo kissing my eyes, but I don’t remember. I think it was captured beautifully.”

Bae In-hyuk experienced four weddings and many love scenes in ‘The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract’. He said, "I didn't know what to do because it was my first time experiencing the wedding process. But Se-young noona took care of it. In filming the ending of Episode 12, I felt comfortable because she had some experience, such as we confirmed each other's feelings and a lot of love scenes. There are many scenes that were not in the script. There was a scene where Yeon-woo was preparing and was ignoring Tae-ha so I said, 'Stop that and look at me.' It was supposed to end there, but the director didn't cut it. There was a more sweet scene after that. I remember acting ad-libbed with the idea of showing a more sweet side,” he said.

His romance chemistry with Lee Se-young continued at the awards ceremony, which even sparked dating rumors. Before the '2023 MBC Drama Awards' Best Couple Award was announced, Taeha and Yeonwoo was interviewed while holding each other’s hands and was seen to sit each other’s closely. “I didn’t even know there was a dating rumor. The drama hasn’t ended at that time, I thought (the rumors) just came out because we had good chemistry together. (Lee Se-young and I) didn’t mention anything like that to each other.”
